Recommended Math and Science Curriculum

On this page, you will find some of my favorite science and math curriculum for the high school years.  We have not used every level of Saxon or Apologia, but have been pleased with what we have used.

When you click on the titles, you can see more complete descriptions and prices on the Christian Book Distributors web site. Please note that  I receive a 10% commission when you order after entering their site through mine.

Science

We have always used Apologia's Exploring Creation text books for high school science.  They are suitable for home use and co-op use.  Most of the texts have optional CD-ROM's available, but not all of them are listed here.  There is also a Marine Biology course that I don't have listed here yet.  Physical Science is designed for 8th grade, but in many situations, can be taken for high school credit either in 8th or 9th grade.  Check with your private school covering or county school system to verify this.
